Painting Redefined

If you want to nurture your excellence in any art form to express your inner expressions, you can easily do it through the art of painting. Painting is just not a line drawn on a piece of paper with colours filled into it, but is an expression of the artist who views this world with his own perspective. Here, the perception of the artist matters a lot. If the artist has no clue about what to draw and how to draw, he or she can not be a successful artist, no matter how well he is with his painting brushes and art pencils. A painter expresses whatever he feels about the world he watches and the impression of that keen watch is his creation-‘Painting.’

The creation is often affected by the various mood swings of the artist. Many a times, the atmosphere also contributes in the artist’s creation, affecting his creativity. A creation can also base on the expressing ability of the artist. A meek artist in a sombre mood cannot draw something which will show his rebel attitude, but at times, this artist can create a rebel masterpiece using bright and rebel colours, bringing out his expressions of fury. If you can visit an art gallery, you can see that an artist has chosen a single subject and has painted around that subject in different perspective. For the artist, the subject he is working on is his world for the time being. The various moods of the subject help the artist to get a new subject out of any single subject. In this way, an artist creates a single set of painting which actually revolves around the subject. Often the artist’s mood swings change the perspective of the subject. Often it is the change of the mood of the subject or the entire look of the subject which changes the outlook of the artist. The observer too, has his own perspective to define things, and he or she may not be able to think as the artist thought while he was painting. If the artist is able to reciprocate his ideas well to the viewer, it’s good. If he failed to reciprocate his ideas, it is much better, because the viewers can develop a new perspective while he/she observes the painting painted by the artist. The observer can relate the painting’s perspective with their life, and thus, can appreciate it cordially.
